Trisobbio Castle
Trisobbio Castle: a short history
Trisobbio near Alessandria (Italy) is one of the oldest villages of Monferrato.
During the Medieval age it was rich thanks to an intense trading with the Liguria region.
After 1800 the castel is in ruins until the beginning of 1900 when the building renovation has begun under the supervision of Alfredo d’Andrade who led the structure at the actual shape.
Nowadays the castle is an elegant restaurant, ideal location for wedding parties.
Trisobbio Castle: the project. Floodlights.
About twenty years ago, Spacecannon followed the lighting design of the castle using metal halide with mechanical colour changer: the old Focus 1200W has done its job until the major decided to renew the lighting in order to reduce the power consumption.
We could find a perfect solution using the floodlights Rainbow 1 with RGBW technology and the ecolor40 totally controlled with DMX512. An accurate selection of optics was used in order to achieve a perfect uniformity on all surfaces.
Our experts could follow the development of the project giving a turn key solution including the programming of the shows and giving advices on the cabling. The newest DMX controller installed for driving the floodlights allows the user to change the shows in real time using an App on a mobile phone.
Thanks to Sapcecannon floodlights, the castle rises from the top of the hill shifting from elegant warm white to multi-coloured effects and can be seen from kilometres away while keeping the night’s natural darkness.
